Thank you for considering volunteering at the Ethnic Food Bank.

The volunteers will form the back bone and the most important part of the charity. All people supporting the charity are unpaid volunteers including trustees, chair, treasurer and secretary.

There are many reasons to volunteer at Ethnic Food Bank:

  • Make a difference: You directly contribute to feed people (and children) who are hungry and struggling with food insecurity and make a difference in their lives.
  • Give back to the community: You get to make a positive contribution to the community and help those in most need.
  • Gain new skills and experience: It is an opportunity to learn new skills, such as organizational and teamwork skills, and gain valuable experience that can be beneficial on a CV.
  • Meet new people: It is a great way to meet new people who share similar values and interests.
  • Have a quality time: It will be a fulfilling, enjoyable and rewarding experience, especially when working with a team of dedicated and passionate volunteers.
  • Volunteering boosts your self-esteem and provides you with a sense of purpose and achievement knowing how much of a difference you’ve made in other people’s lives.

Assistance and support will be needed (but not limited to) for:
